She completed specialist training in General Practice in Scotland in 2003. And in 2004 she worked delivering primary care services to the population of a remote area of Papua New Guinea. She has been living and working as a GP in Co Wicklow since 2005. She set up Newtown Medical Practice in 2011 and has been extremely fortunate to have been joined by an exceptional team.
She is passionate about general practice and is an active member of the ICGP. She was Chair of the Wicklow ICGP faculty 2018-2020 and she joined the ICGP Board in 2020 as Honorary Secretary.
She has had a long-standing interest in medical education and was appointed as a GP trained in 2019
